Hi Everyone,
On this cool rainy day I am getting to my list of to-do’s and scratching a few off.

I cannot close out this year without first and foremost expressing my gratitude to all the friends and connects I have made in this year; some of them new and fresh and others worn-in like a nice pair of faded jeans. So, here’s a shout out to some folks that have made a difference in my year!

In December I will be out to California twice! This year I am opening for Stars On The Water on the 17th at the LAPHC Christmas party. I will be tagging along with Jer on the rest of the weekend, so keep an eye out for me at the usual spots.

The second fly-in is a trip to San Carlos Mexico for New Years Eve.  We are looking to fill the Sunday with a show in Phoenix.I plan to book 10 days per month of road-shows this year; I am currently adding dates for the first half of February in Florida.

Hi Everyone!
Long time no talk to…..
I hope this email finds you all soaking up the last bit of this hot summer. I was on a hike this morning at Radnor Lake here in Nashville and I could feel the difference in the cooler air and the slant of the sunlight. Football weather is almost here, at least that’s what one of my friends told me yesterday.
I have spent much of this summer doing shows around the mid south with a few trips out on the road. I would like to thank the folks in San Antonio who came out for a delightful night at David & Glenda Kecks’ house concert and the Northwest Arkansas Parrothead club who got to see me play in the kitchen at Nibbles in Fayetteville. I would also like to thank Les,Tiki Phil & Kathy and the Pirates of the Puget Sound for a great stay in Seattle!

My September schedule is as follows:
Fridays @ McDougals’ Chicken from 6-9pm in Cool Springs
Saturday the 3rd, 17th and 24th @ The Bahama Breeze in Memphis from 7-11pm

I am working on a tour to San Diego and back for the early part of October from the 5th to about the 15th. If you or your club is interested in hosting a show or just having me play at your Happy hour, or favorite bar please get back to me right away so I can connect the dots for this tour.
It looks like I will drive, so if you are west of Nashville or east of San Diego I will probably drive through and can stop along the way!

I have a few things to let you know about for the upcoming month and future events, so here we go….
First off my schedule has changed!
Due to circumstances beyond my control my schedule at Margaritaville in Nashville has been suspended for now. They have a new events person there and are trying a few different ideas. I hope to get back to work there in the future! Click here to view my schedule: www.musicmike.net

I have a new gig though at a very cool and close venue here in Franklin, Tn called McDougals! www.McDougalschicken.com
I will be there on Thursdays and Friday nights from 6- close.
They feature great chicken, fries and salads and TWO FOR ONE BEERS!
Please come spend some time with me on the deck one of these nights, enjoy some Trop Rock music, food, fun and did I mention TWO FOR ONE BEERS?

This Thursday night I will be in Memphis at the world famous Peabody Hotel playing at the Corner Pub from 10 pm. until 12:00- This follows their famous rooftop party. I hope to see all of my Memphis friends!

I will return to the Bahama Breeze in Memphis this month for 5 dates! June 4, 18, 25, 26. Starts at 6:00 on the coolest patio in town.

On the 11th I will be at the Paradise Valley Resort in Dawsonville,Ga for the annual Jimmy Buffett Party. Be forewarned that this is a clothing optional event!
Last years event was very optional!

Hi Everybody,

Spring has sprung here in Tennessee with a nice warm up by the weekend.  All of the trees are budding and blooming and there are flowers everywhere. The Dogwoods are really nice right now.

Here’s what’s going on for the rest of April and into the future.

I have signed about 40 dates with Jimmy Buffetts’ Margaritaville restaurant here in Nashville  through the rest of the year and will play 4 to 5 times per month. You can check my schedule  or listen to my music @ http://musicmike.net/

I have several tours in the works right now! The first one is in late May to Salt Lake City.
I will be leaving Nashville around the 20th of May and will try to book shows along my route out west and on the return trip home. So far there is interest for shows and house concerts in Fayetteville Arkansas, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake (confirmed).
I am looking in specific for dates in Oklahoma, Albuquerque, or any where on the road back on either the southern or middle roads.

I have a snow day today so I am finally getting around to sending out the news for the upcoming month! I love my job!

Saturday 2/19/11  I will be in Stuart, Fl for  The Treasure Coast Harley Davidson Customer Appreciation Day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.. Come on out for a test ride!

Sunday 2/20/11 Charlies Bar ad Grill in Stuart, FL from 2- 6. I hope to see a lot of my Treasure Coast PHC phriends in their natural setting.

Tuesday 2/22/11 at Wahoos’ in Stuart , Florida, from 6-9. Come celebrate George Washington’s'  Birthday with me and a Sam Adams!

Thursday 2/24/11 I will be playing for the Sarasota PHC at their monthly happy hour.. details T.B.A

Sunday 2/27/11  Join me  at the Nav-a Gator in Lake Suzy, FL  for an afternoon of music and fun! This is the belly of the trop-rock beast and I am happy to be there!

Don’t forget that Jer and I are booking dates for an early May road trip to the upper midwest if there is enough interest. Also I have  a few trips this year that I will be adding dates to if you are in the region;

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.  Did you make out a set of goals for the coming year? I always try to get that done by the first week of January and am now looking at ways to get into action.

First the weather report from my window says: SNOW! There is white stuff everywhere in the south today. I am gonna go take a walk in it in a little bit. Made a big pot of soup to go along with the winter offerings.

OK, I will be out at Cody’s Pub in Goodlettsville this coming Saturday for a song writer round at 7:00.

We had a great show at the Mexicali Grill in Franklin last week and I want to thank all of my friends that came out for a little fun & food. We will be back on February the 12th, starting at 6:00 for another dose of fun & frivolity.

I am starting to fill out my calendar for the year and am looking at trips to Texas, Florida, the upper midwest, Seattle and the Northwest, Utah and Boise, the Left coast, the Gulf coast and the south. The challenge  for me is to get  the people aware of where I will be in time to put additional shows on the calendar.
Please let me know if you are in one of the above regions and would like to have me play a show for you this year with the approximate time that works for you. I am trying to do between 6 and 9 trips this year of about 10 days each.

First off, I apologize for being tardy with my bulletin and missing last months edition altogether, but I was tired! I was wondering what made me so tired and so I looked at this years calendar and realized why I was worn-out…

I need to be in Arizona on the first of December and back in Memphis on the 18th. Let’s fill a hole in between those dates if we can.
